A little 1960′s inspiration had everyone involved more that a bit excited about this shoot.
Working alongside some amazing Yorkshire Wedding suppliers meant for a day of giddy smiles and creative fun, even though the weather would have had us all think otherwise.. I don’t think we could have picked a more wet and windy day!
The morning started with a trip over to the fabulous Yorkshire Heritage buses depot.. where awaiting us was a 1060′s beauty! We watched as she was all cleaned up ready for her staring moment in our shoot.
Sitting on the bus wedged between the window and a very beautiful if precariously balanced cake from the lovely Claire at Just Darling cakes, I only felt a little bit concerned about the exciting bus journey over towards the Worth Valley railways!
There we were met by our gorgeous couple Laura and Richard who were so very hard working on the day and allowed us to get these amazing shots!
Kizzy and I had prepared a few beauty looks for Laura and were so looking forward to getting started! Liner and lashes all the way with soft curls and daisies to start, moving onto more structured styles and heavier Brigitte Bardot eyes as the day went on..
Hayley from the most beautiful Glory Days Vintage provided the breathtaking gowns and dresses while the Vintage hire was from Perfect Days Vintage.
Not to forget to mention the pretty little details with Stationery form the lovely Nat from I am Nat, Jewellery from Element Jewellery and the most lovely Umbrella from Love umbrellas! This was a much needed addition on the day!
Lastly it was just so great to have the humour and amazing talent of our photographer on the day – James Melia and also to Stuart Sparke for his movie contribution which will follow soon!
We Hope that you LOVE these images, the whole day was a lot of rainy fun!
