Jo was highly recommended to me by a friend so I didn’t even consider any other person to do my make up on the day! I had my trial and loved it, it was perfect, even better than I had expected. On the day, despite my mum not wanting her make up done, after seeing my bridesmaids make-up she decided to let Jo work her magic and it made her day, she loved it! Jo really did make the experience feel extra special, but I knew she would after the experience of my trial! I don’t plan on getting married again but I will 100% be using Jo again for special occasion make up.

I had contacted a number of make up artists to make enquiries and as soon as i heard from Jo i had every confidence that she was the girl for the job! As a sufferer of acne and sensitive skin i can honestly say she made my skin look flawless without the usual ‘caked’ feeling. She uses amazing products to suite your needs and wants ( have bought a load of make up that she used on me!) On the day I could’nt have asked for more. From the first time I spoke to Jo I felt I trusted her and wanted her. The Trial I had I loved and the makeup lasted all day and through a Zumba class without moving and it didn’t feel heavy. On the day I couldn’t have done it without Jo there keeping me calm and pouring champagne. She also did my Mum’s make up and she loved it! Jo is nothing short of amazing! Not only did she sort mine and my bridesmaids make up for my wedding day, she also put me in touch with an amazing hairdresser who did an equally fantastic job. Jo did such a great job; I told her I wanted to look ‘like me but better’ and that’s exactly what she did. She put me totally at ease when i was a nervous wreck on the morning (thanks for the M&Ms!!!) and let me know exactly what she was doing he whole way through. I felt like a princess and, more importantly, my make up lasted all day which is nothing short of miraculous with my shiny skin!! Fate brought me in contact with Jo. From the second I spoke to Jo she filled me with confidence,she’s so friendly and down to earth,I wasn’t disappointed on meeting her for a trial, which she arranged last minute to fit around my commitments. She conducted a full consulation taking note of pictures I had and she was well equipt with a very extensive and impressive range of products. I was impressed with Jo’s knowledge of products and the way she talked me through everything she used, I picked up some really good tips. The end result was amazing she made me look fantastic there was never any doubt I would use her for my Wedding. She always responds quickly to emails and does absolutely everything she promises, something which any bride to be will appreciate. On the Wedding day Jo was punctual and made my morning memorable with her relaxed and confident style. She worked excellently alongside the hairdresser she had put me in touch with and together they transformed me into a beautiful bride. I have to say Jo excelled my expectations which were already held very high from first meeting her. She was involved with everything, helping with flowers, getting me in my dress, fastening jewellery to ordering refreshments. She is a fantastic person and made me look like a princess, I am truely grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her. Her makeup lasted ALL day and looked fabulous, I even had her eye makeup on the following day for new years eve and still looked as good as the morning before, a pretty impressive acheivment after all my Wedding day emotions. I would definately use Jo again in the future and I urge all brides searching for that special service to do the same.

Words cannot describe how highly I can recommend Jo. From the first point of contact to the actual wedding she has been really friendly, approachable and professional. At the rehearsal she really impressed me with all her knowledge and expertise – as well as the huge array of kit she has with her! jo was quick with my enquiries and open to discussion for make up ideas. found me a great hairstylist too. her charges are reasonable compared to other quotes i’ve received. i didn’t opt for a trial as i was on a budget and jo didn’t push for it too. but she did a brilliant job on the wedding day itself. was on time and brought all equipment needed. Was a bit nervous of what to expect as never had anything like this done before, and even more so for my wedding day. My husband booked this as a surprise not just for me but for my daughter, mum and grand mother ages from 13 to 80. As somebody who doesn’t wear much make-up I was rather nervous about my wedding look but Jo did a fantastic job of making me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The look that Jo created for me was amazing, I loved everything about it. I still felt and looked like myself without being too “made up” and the make-up didn’t feel heavy or cloggy which was something I was worried about. My trial went great, we made a girly night of it and Jo had a way of making me feel like I’d known her for ages!! I was more than happy with my make up and even more so on my wedding day, the pictures definitely reflect this. My bridesmaids and Mum also felt very special and looked fab, Jo even included my 5 year old daughter in all the fuss and made her look even more gorgeous & sparkley!! Jo was more than a make up artist on the day, together with my hairdresser Kizzy, they were a fab team. When things got a bit chaotic, they stepped in, got me in my dress and stayed with me until we were ready to go!!
