Giedré by Neil Matthews part 1

It was on a very chilly day that we set out to have a play about with some flash lights, a few camera’s, a make-up kit and fabulous and equally beautiful model Giedre.

I’m sure it wasn’t really just to play, although we did have a lot of fun creating these images!

My brief was simple really, just to emphasise the models captivating almond eyes and to create a few looks with textures that would work well along with flash and natural light a like. I used shades of shimmering gun metals in the first images and as the shoot progressed added more definition, right up to the brow with blacks and bronzes. I also added an illamasqua pigment in ore to add another dimension to the lid, finishing with a deep berry Dior lip gloss to add a un-made glamorous element to the look.

These are the first set of images from the shoot from the lovely & charismatic Neil Matthews.

Enjoy :)
